So my first “destination” wedding ended up being in Houston…and I had a blast.  Javeria and  Shahzad (who will be know from here on out as “Shazeria”) are two of the most awesome people I have ever met.  They took me (and the hubby and kiddos) into their “home” aka The Four Seasons, and I spent three days getting to know how sweet and loving they and their families are.  Shy met me down in H-Town, and we had such a great time with these guys, thanks again for being such awesome clients!  Stay tuned for more to come.  Here are some of my faves from the mehndi.

So I just got back into town today from my trip to Houston, where I had the most awesome opportunity to shoot my first “destination” wedding! Everything went really well and I had a blast with Javeria and Shaz and their wonderful families! I still have tons of photos to sort through, but I just wanted to post a quick sneak peek of the festivities, since my blog has been neglected over the last week that I have been gone! I actually met Javeria and Shaz while shooting Saima & Imran’s wedding so it was like a little mini-reunion of all of their friends and family, and it was awesome! I can’t wait to go through all of the images, but for now here are just a couple of my faves….

I am getting ready to post part 4.2 of Saima and Imran’s wedding extravaganza, and I just had to share this shot of Saima getting ready right before the reception. As I mentioned before I have been on this “moody b&w” kick lately and this shot is no exception! Even though there was color packed everywhere in this wedding I just had to see this shot in b&w…and I absolutely love it.
