I had a really busy (but fun!) weekend with baby and family sessions, so I was able to squeeze in a quick session with my beautiful niece and nephew, so I was soooo happy about that! I have been so busy lately that I haven’t been able to get a proper session in with Baby J. Then my oldest son got the dreaded “Swine Flu” so we were quarantined for a couple of weeks and couldn’t be around my baby nephew But everyone is healthy now and I was able to do a quick session with him and his big sis this weekend. He is such a little chubs now…I am loving all of his baby rolls!! Here are just two of my faves from their session…

A day in the life…a park plan gone wrong! || Plano Child Photographer

The boys and I have been living it up with this beautiful weather and spending a lot of time outdoors and at the park! They of course love it, and I will love it more when all the mosquitoes go away for the fall! Anyways, bug bites aside we had a great time a a cute little park by our house that I have been meaning to take them to for a while. I must admit that I had ulterior motives for taking them here (as you shall soon see! muahahahahaha~) because there is this awesome painted mural just around the corner that I have been dying to shoot! Well, it didn’t all go as planned…actaully it backfired on me because they didn’t want me pulling them away from the park to go “take pictures” as they say. So by the time I got them to the wall they were a little upset. Oh well…next time I know better. Shoot first, then park!

Sneak Peek: Baby T and Big Brother || Plano Newborn Photographer

I scheduled out the month of September to take a short break from shooting weddings to work on some of my editing and orders…and partially because I was expecting lots of newborn and baby sessions! And I am totally ok with that because, well, I love babies!

So I did a session for Miss T and her big brother Mr G, last week and I had a blast. Miss T pretty much slept throughout the entire session, which made it easy on me , and big brother did a great job for me as well. Here are a couple quick faves from my session with them…

Big brother was a little camera shy at first with me, so he wanted me to take a couple pictures of his favorite stuffed elephant, which I happily did

Then he loosened up for me…and did an awesome job!

A day in the life…Lazy Sunday || Plano Child Photographer

I am sooooo happy that it is starting to “cool down” (I use that term loosely, it is all relative I guess!) but either way the family and I are trying to enjoy the slight drop in temperature we’ve had. The boys love going to the “woods” by our house, it is nice and shaded and of course great for climbing trees and photo opportunities! They had a blast, get to run out all that energy that they have and I was in love with the light we got It is getting close to my favorite time of year…and I can’t wait a minute longer!!

J was really concerned (and maybe slightly freaked out!) that there was an animal hiding in the hole in the tree…

He is becoming such a ham! I can’t pull out my camera anymore without him saying “cheeeeeeese” and giving me the biggest, fakest smile ever! I promise I did not teach him that *sigh*

He said he was collecting sticks for our next camping trip…apparently it’s about that time again (oh and as you can see i was collecting light!)

Confession: I have been a bad blogger lately! But no more! I will be keeping up with it from here on out, thanks to the most awesome LR2 plugins from the Photographer’s Toolbox that make exporting, watermarking and blogging a breeze! Ok, enough of that, now to my post….

So I have been meaning to post photos of my new DVD cases for a while now, but it seems like every time I make one, I ship it off immediately. (I like to get my clients their products as soon as possible!) So I decided to take a minute today to take a few shots of the new, fully customizable cases, that I love sooooo much and show them on the blog! I absolutely love these cases because I design, print and put them together. So I am able to customize them according to each client and their personalities, which I love. This particular one is from a family session from the ever-so-cute Miss J. I will be delivering this along with her album next week(which i will also post pictures of), wheee!
