I spent most of this past weekend in Ft. Worth with the ever-so-sweet Salima and Rajju, and their wonderfully sweet families for their wedding events…the first two shots are from their mehndi at Rajju’s family’s gorgeous home, and the rest are from their amazing ceremony and reception at the Ft. Worth Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Downtown Ft. Worth.  More to come from this wedding!

You know when you meet people for the first time and you just instantly know that you will like them, well that is exactly what went through my mind when I met these two. They have such amazing personalities and are so much fun together…we laughed and talked through the whole session. It was a little windy and cold out (go figure this CRAZY Dallas weather, it’s cold in March?!) but that did not stop these two.  They are so comfortable with each other and you can really see how much they love and enjoy each other, and it is soooo refreshing.  Hareesh and Monica, you guys are awesome. Thanks for braving the wind and spending part of your spring break with me! ;)

Here are some of my picks from their engagement session…enjoy!

Ahhhhh. The early morning sun…I love it. :)

And we had to get a few shots in with their Penn sweatshirts…it was only fitting since they met at the university.

Then we whisked off to Deep Ellum for a more edgy look…I used the word “fierce” a lot here. ;)

I am not one that is big on signs in photos…but this one actually had significance!!  They met in college at their jobs where they were essentially working at shipping/receiving, so I am glad that we happened upon this sign.

Some of my favorite shots from our session…

Let me tell you, I cannot wait for their wedding in June…they will be having a traditional Indian wedding and the traditional Chinese tea ceremony, I know that it is going to be an amazing event.
