Today was a good day.  It was spent wandering the streets of Deep Ellum with my good friends and their beautiful boys, the Bingham family.  We could not have asked for a more beautiful day out in Downtown Dallas and we were able to get some great shots!  Apparently like 5,000 other Dallas photographers had the same idea, but there was plenty of cool places in Deep Ellum for every one to share. :)   Here are just a few of my faves from the day…it really was an awesome session!

I haven’t posted any pictures of the kiddos lately and have been missing them on the blog, so I thought I would do that today. I have been feeling extremely sentimental today as I realized earlier that my “baby” is going to be turning 2 this month. I cannot believe how fast time flies by, it really just seems like yesterday that he was still in his bassinet! Just a couple weeks ago we had to upgrade him to a “big boy” toddler bed and I just sold his beautiful crib this week! *sniffle* I love this shot of him for so many reasons, but mostly because it reminds me that he still is and will always be my baby! *sigh* I am so happy and fortunate that I am able to be doing something I love, and still be at home with my boys and watch them grow up, right in front of my eyes.

Oh and one more thing….I got a new camera! Wheeee!! These shots were taken with my new baby, the D700 and my new lens, the Sigma 50mm/1.4, and oh how I heart this new combo!  I will be posting more from Polly and Damien’s wedding today or tomorrow!

Today I had the wonderful opportunity to do a family session with Arthur and Amber and their two beautiful daughters. It was a bit cooler than we had expected (thanks to the crazy TX weather!) but they braved the cold for me and we got some great shots! For this session we headed out to Lakeside Park in Highland Park, and let the girls explore for a while while I snapped away. I absolutely loved that the whole family was in pink, it was too cute. Thanks to Arthur for going along with the pink theme, he really rocked the pink polo! Anyways, on to the important stuff, the photos…
