Oh well…next time I know better.  Shoot first, then park!

Enjoying themselves…throwing grass in the air.  ah, it’s the little things that make my kids happy :)

I have a brand new nephew, Baby J, and he is absolutely precious! I am so excited because now I have a readily available newborn model on hand. ;) We decided to do his newborn photos (at only 5 days old!) last Saturday, and it ended up working out really well. The light was perfect, and I didn’t even have to get out my strobes to do this shoot, so it was all natural lighting which I love! He did so good for me, and loooooved my baby wrap (aka scarf from Old Navy)! I had so much fun with him, and it was nice having a mom that trusted me completely, with all the “different” poses that I wanted to try!  My sister was a  huge help and I think we got some great shots. Here are some of my faves…

So I have been meaning to post photos of my new DVD cases for a while now, but it seems like every time I make one, I ship it off immediately. (I like to get my clients their products as soon as possible!) So I decided to take a minute today to take a few shots of the new, fully customizable cases, that I love sooooo much and show them on the blog! I absolutely love these cases because I design, print and put them together. So I am able to customize them according to each client and their personalities, which I love. This particular one is from a family session from the ever-so-cute Miss J.   I will be delivering this along with her album next week(which i will also post pictures of), wheee!

You might recognize Miss N from an earlier session I did with her and her cousin in the spring, and I think she just got like 10x cuter since then!  Our original plan was to go out to this park in Richardson with a beautiful waterfall, but when I got there it was under construction….boo (and I just didn’t think orange construction tape would too great in family portraits).  Well, we decided to try a nearby park that I had seen on the way, and I have to say I think it worked out sooooo much better!  We had a great time walking the nature trails and just letting Miss N have a good time.  We got started early and the weather was a gorgeous 75°!!  I will definitely be going back to this park….you just can’t beat shaded trails in this TX heat.

So here are just a few of my favorites from this session (it was so hard to narrow it down, there were so many good ones!)…
